Eric Deis was born on a Canadian military station in the Queen Charlotte Islands. He is a graduate of Emily Carr Institute of Art + Design, Vancouver (B.F.A.) and the University of California, San Diego (M.F.A.). His work has been exhibited in Canada, Denmark, Germany, Mexico, Serbia, Sweden, and the United States of America.
